Art Project: I am a survivor – Exhibition Opening

The art project I am a survivor shows six paintings that depict the stories of survivors. The six exhibiting artists created their artwork only based upon audio recording of a personal testimony of one of the survivors. Encompassing different conflicts that the region had to deal with over the decades, the paintings show survivors stories from the Lebanese civil war but also more recent events as the Lebanon war of 2006, the ongoing conflict in neighbouring Syria, or domestic violence and abuse. 

Christopher Ibrahim and Ali Khedr will accompany the opening of the exhibition with their piano and trumpet.

The exhibition will last until the 23rd of February 2020.
