ASHKARA is a purely live music experience that draws from the hypnotic roots of tarab and infuses it with the high energy of dabke.

The trio appeared on the Beirut music scene late last year with their electrifying mix of psychedelic shaabi & heavy dance grooves. The rhythm section is held down by Khaled Omran on bass and Khaled Yassine on drums & percussion, while virtuoso Faraj Hanna soars with his electric buzuk to improvised heights that stir the spirit, the heart & the booty.

After their incredible concert at Station in Jan, the band returns to share their unique sound on Sat April 15. One of the most original sounds on the scene today, taking Beirut to a whole new sonic dimension >> do not miss!
