HEIDY HUWILER, CLARINET
Heidy Huwiler Is A Freelance Musician And Instrumental Teacher For Clarinet. She Studied At The Zurich University Of Music And Theater With Elmar Schmid (Teaching Diploma) And Then In Heinrich Mätzeer's Concert Class At The Lucerne University Of Music, Where She Received Her Master Of Arts In Music With Distinction. In Her Postgraduate Degree She Expanded Her Studies With Prof. Paolo Beltramini (Clarinet) And The Professors Ivan Klansky And Florian Hoelscher (Chamber Music). In Addition, She Attended Various Master Classes In Switzerland, Germany And Italy.
With The Variant Instruments Bass And Eb Clarinet As Well As Basset Horn And Double Bass Clarinet, She Participates In Orchestras And Chamber Music Groups, Such As The Aargau Wind Soloists Or 'La Stüa', A Crossover Production By Clarinetist Marco Santilli, Which Is Between Jazz And Classical Music And Folk Music Moves. She Appears Regularly As A Soloist And Gives Concerts In A Duo With The Pianist Andrea Isch (Www.Duo-Voltage.Ch) And The Swiss-German Klezmerformation Freilach Trio.
Her Enthusiasm For Chamber Music And Folkloric Music Such As Bossanova And Klezmer Lead Her At Home And Abroad: To Brazil, Israel Or The Netherlands And Regularly To Germany. She Is Currently Devoting Herself To Klezmer Music And Improvisation, As Well As Literary Writing. In 2019 She Completed A 'CAS In Music, Creation And Scenario' With Charlotte Hug And In 2020/21 She Is Cohort Of The 'Global Leaders Program', A One-Year 'Art Entrepreneur' Study Program.
In 2018 The First CD 'Rhapsodic' Was Created With The Pianist Andrea Isch And Works By George Gershwin, York Bowen And Marc Eychenne. Available Upon Request. The CD 'Überall & Nirgendwo Von Freilach Trio' Contains Exclusively Original Compositions And Will Be Released In Winter 2020.

Swiss Pianist Tomas Dratva Studied Piano In Basel, Lucerne And London And Gave His Début Already During His Studies With The Tonhalle Orchester Zürich In 1992. Since Then, He Has Been Performing Regularly As A Soloist And Chamber Musician In Many Countries Around The World. He Gave Performances In Concert Series And Festivals In Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Dallas, San Francisco, London, Paris, Berlin, Bonn, Basel, Lugano, New York City, Washington DC, Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Weimar, Bayreuth, Stockholm, Minsk, Krakow And Solo Concerts With Numerous Orchestras: Sinfonieorchester Luzern, Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Argovia Philharmonic, Kammerorchester Basel, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra Košice, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra Bratislava, Praga Sinfonietta, Russian State Philharmonic Orchestra Tomsk, Slovak Sinfonietta Et Al.
Tomas Dratva Is Known To Master A Broad Repertoire. The Most Important Imperatives In His Artistic Activity Are The Search For New Discoveries And Rediscoveries, The Study Of Contemporary Music, And An In-Depth Occupation With Historical Pianos.
In The Years 1993-2010 Tomas Dratva Was The Pianist Of The Trio Animæ. With This Ensemble, He Performed More Than 100 Piano Trio Compositions.
Tomas Dratva Has Been Recording Regularly For 20 Years. In 2017 Tomas Dratva Founded The Music Label PIANOVERSAL - The World's First Purely Digital Music Label For Classical And Contemporary Piano Music.
Tomas Dratva Is An Enthusiastic Piano Teacher And Mentor. He Is President Of The EPTA Switzerland (European Piano Teachers Association).
