Beirut, Lebanon – March 2025 – Nada Boulos Auction is pleased to present Works from the Collection of the late Yole Rizk, Founder of the Delta International Art Center (1972 - 1975) an online auction taking place from March 8 to March 10, 2025. The auction offers a selection of modern artworks from the collection of Yole Rizk, founder of the Delta International Art Center (1972–1975), a space that contributed to shaping Beirut’s cultural landscape in the early 1970s.
Yole Rizk was actively engaged in fostering artistic dialogue between Lebanon, the Mediterranean, and international artists. Delta International Art Center hosted exhibitions featuring both established and emerging artists, emphasizing artistic experimentation and cross-cultural exchange rather than commercial representation. Many of the works included in this auction were originally exhibited at Delta or acquired directly from artists who were part of its program.
The auction features a diverse collection of works, including paintings, drawings, and works on paper by leading figures in Lebanese and international art. Notable artists represented in the sale include Aref El Rayess, Paul Guiragossian, Joumana Bayazid El Husseini, Helen El-Khal, Paul Guiragossian, Elie Kanaan, and Georges Cyr, among others. The collection reflects the range of artistic movements and styles that characterized Beirut’s art scene in the 1970s, from modernist abstraction to figurative expression.
