Take your felting skills to the next level in this Felt-Making Workshop (Advanced Techniques) with artist and teacher Guitta Melki , an expert in fine arts, ceramics, fiber arts, and textile design.

Design and construct a 3D felt object of your choice: a hat, handbag, or open pot/sculpture. This hands-on session will guide you step by step through planning, measuring, creating a template, laying the wool, embellishing, and mastering the felting and fulling process. The Wool and tools are provided. To bring: A towel and creative ideas to discuss.

This workshop is recommended for those with prior felting experience or participants of the March 8 felting workshop.

* Price: $45, including resist, yarns, and 75 grams of wool. Additional wool for purchase will be available. Or, you may bring your own.
