Recently established, M7DH0N© (No One Here) consists of rappers/producers, visual artists, fashion designers and filmmakers scattered between Lebanon and the diaspora. The collective’s creative minds share a common DIY ethos that renounces both the polished veneer of mainstream hip hop and the tired clichés of the Arabic-speaking world. Instead, M7DHON members apply their fearless punk approach to craft new directions in Lebanese underground urban culture. Each in their singular style, the rappers deliver their raw lyrics via moody atmospheres thatblend storytelling and social commentary over bass-heavy beats that pay homage to their cultural roots while revealing the underlying malaise of contemporary Beirut life.
