While a portion of the registration fees for both races will go toward funding these gifts, the BMA is calling on the public for additional support:

In-kind donations: Contributions of new toys, games, or other suitable items to help meet the 1,000-gift target.

Cash donations: Small contributions can make a significant impact in reaching this goal.

A Message of Resilience

“This year has tested us in ways we never imagined,” said Mrs. May El Khalil, founder of the Beirut Marathon Association. “But even when we couldn’t race through the streets of Beirut, we knew we had to keep moving—this time with a purpose beyond the finish line. This event is not just our comeback; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of giving and unity that defines the Beirut Marathon.”

In December, Mrs. El Khalil, along with representatives from CCCL, Kids First & Chance NGOs, and dedicated volunteers, will visit hospitals across Lebanon to distribute the gifts, spreading holiday cheer to children and their families.
