The lecture will discuss Maher's past experiences in war photography and his career journey. It will highlight the role of photojournalism, or documentary photography, in modern media and art.

Award-winning photographer. Maher combines war-time photography and lifestyle portraits of leaders and celebrities across his work. His work in war photography began in 1984 in Lebanon and saw a major debut when one of his photographs was published on the front cover of the New York Times. He is also an expert in Lomography. Today, he has founded the first photo gallery, Art District, in the heart of Beirut.
