This event is happening this week on the following days: 1, 2 and 3 July from 3 PM till 8 PM.

Join us on a three days event where we will be weaving stories through history, music, and film on how former fighters and foes became today’s artists and carpenters.

Event Schedule: 

Day 1: Friday, July 1, 2022

Title: Beirut Meets Tripoli Through History

Program: A talk with the historian Charles Hayek @heritage_and_roots and KanYaMakan’s youths about the history of two cities, Beirut and Tripoli, followed by a Q&A session from 6 to 7 PM

Day 2: Saturday, July 2, 2022

Title: “Love and War On the Rooftops” 

Program: Screening of “Love and War On the Rooftops” followed by a Q&A session in presence of our youths from 6 to 8 PM

Day 3: Sunday, July 3, 2022

Title: “Taarafou” Band 

Program: From the many stages of Beirut to KanYaMakan’s exhibition space, the “Taarafou” Band will be playing a beautiful repertoire of songs and instrumental music between 6 and 7 PM 

The exhibition features our signature items as well our own fashion line including new items created by our talented youths.
