Dar al Mussawir cordially invites you to an art exhibition entitled “Overthinking” by Mohamad El Dreini. The paintings focus on the stages of overthinking and its effects on human beings as he has personally experienced it and expressed it through different pieces of art with the use of different colors, mediums, and bases.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, at 6 pm and continues to welcome its visitors till Dec. 30th from 11 am to 7 pm.

Biography

Mohamad El Dreini, a 29-year-old Lebanese Palestinian artist based in Beirutو has developed a passion for art after finishing his first major in Interior Design at AUL in 2014. During his five-year work in this major, he pursued art as a hobby and a method to express repressed emotions. He has also participated in various symposiums and exhibitions. After realizing the intensity of his passion for drawing, painting, and teaching, he left his work as a senior interior designer in AKAcia woodworks and pursued his dream of being a full-time artist by majoring in Fine Arts in the Lebanese University at the beginning of 2019. While teaching private students in two ateliers, Mohamad still finds the time to work on various concepts and artworks based on strong and deep ideologies concerning belief, sociology, and cultural mythologies.
