Août Gallery is pleased to invite you the opening of 'Sweet Snacking' a solo exhibition by Ana Pavón Porras opening next Thursday the 17th of April from 6-8pm at our second space in Mar Mikhail 119 Rue Pharaon right next to @bakelabcounter.

Sweet Snacking is a sugar rush that screams love me and then miss me.

By exploring the idea of the hidden as a method of seduction, the work seeks to generate a kind of erotics of painting that draws the eye to the surface of the painting. It is a call toward the sensitive, the perceptive, the suggestive, and the poetic.

Ana's works often feature curtains and fabrics, exploring the visual potential of "hidden things" and intriguing viewers with the mysteries of their own concealed truths.

Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Malaga (2018), where she also completed the Master in Interdisciplinary Artistic Production (2019).
