How are you living your lockdown?
The first two weeks were the worst. I was anxious and worried as was coming from one-month trip around New York, Montreal, Toronto and Paris. And it was just the time when virus spreading worldwide and when I came back to Beirut virus tests were not allowed unless you are holding symptoms.
But was lucky enough to pass that.
Nowadays I keep myself busy doing my two hours daily workout, I am learning Spanish via an application, a bit of Netflix series, getting more connected with my social media followers. And mostly I am happy to have time connecting with my surrounding discovering old Lebanese architecture and nature around me.
From your active life, what do you miss the most?
I miss the most being at Gym as workout makes a big part of my life routine and being there feels home to me.
What don't you miss?
I don’t miss the hectic lifestyle where we have no time to connect even with our family members.
How do you think life will be after Corona?
I don’t think any of us can be sure what’s coming next!
I guess we had a lesson to appreciate simple things we have in our lives and to stop taking them for granted.
A word of encouragement to our readers
I would advise not to put much pressure on ourselves in this period nor big expectations but live it day by day.
If you manage to get out of it with a new skill or learning, let it be.
May be learning a new language or arranging your closets or cooking that recipe you always wanted.
Last but not least “Nothing lasts Forever” good days will be back.
