How are you living your lockdown?
I can’t complain! I’m enjoying my stress-free life, no deadlines, no rush. Besides, I would have never had the chance to live this way with my family 24/7. Sharing activities, cooking, baking, planting, doing the household work! Life has never been simpler.
From your active life, what do you miss the most?
I miss being personally productive. Giving my workshops, being on set, working on my blogging and social media content with my team. I also miss my Pilates classes that require being physically there. I miss traveling and I’m not sure how this will be possible again.
I also miss my “me time”.
What don't you miss?
The rush and traffic, the anger on people’s faces while driving, setting an alarm…
How do you think life will be after Corona?
Life will not be the same again!
I mean I don’t think there will be large public gatherings ortraveling like before? Who would want to!
There will be no hugs and kissing, we will see people wearing masks all the time.
I lived in Japan in 2007 and ironically people don’t handshake, kiss or hug, they do wear masks when they feel sick, there are people who actually clean the escalators’ handrails all day long and people remove their shoes before entering their house.
I kind of understand and respect that now even more and I believe it’s the right thing to do.
On another note, I believe that the digital world just started to take over.
A word of encouragement to our readers
What we lived and witnessed during this pandemic taught us how to deal with the biggest fear a human being might face. It made us come together and act as one community, and this will only help us evolve and confront future challenges in a wiser way.
Introducing some optimism into our lives and trying to be creative in our own way will only make things better. And by that, I don’t mean living in denial or try to disregard the crisis and its consequences but to train ourselves for a positive mindset.
